Hej allihopa!

Long time no see...
I turned four months last week, BIG BOY!!! And mom and dad thinks I am ca 6400 grams. It's hard to know because they weigh me on grammys weight and it's not really like the one I am used to. And it weighs in pounds!!! Why don't all countries have they same scales in everything???? At least I am getting bigger :)
I love beeing in Michigan, they have warm summer, not like we have in Iceland. Mom and dad bought me a tent to nap in so I can be outside with them :) Allie, the dog, got pretty jealous, she tried to come in too :) But there is not space for both of us, I need my space when I sleep...

Yesterday was the first time I took a good look at Allie and talked to her. She is so beautiful. Even if she didn't answer when I talked to her. I just started talking to things, not just my mom and dad and grandparents. I have a swing here that I borrowed and it has a puppy and a kitty hanging down so I can talk to them. They smile all the time so I have to smile back!!! A couple of days ago I discovered I can touch them if I reach far enough :) I don't know how to grab them yet, but I'll let you know when I have found out how to do it. I also talk to a shiny gold medal that hangs above my changing table. Papa says it's aunt Kelly's medal, and it looks like an olympic gold medal. I guess I can ask her when she and Sean come in July.

Yesterday I went with mom and dad (and Allie) to town so they could play soccer. I can't wait til I can stand up and run around. Or at least crawl around... then I can pinch Allies paws like papa! Mama makes funny noises today when she walks down the stairs. Oof! Ouch! Don't know what it means, but I think she had too much fun playing soccer. :)

Today I get to spend time with grammy and grampy, though grampy's on call and might have to take care of the silly tourists who get injured. Mommy and daddy are going to the movies. I guess I get to go with them but not til I'm an even bigger boy.

Dad is gone for 4 days

Dad left this morning for a wedding this weekend and I already miss him so much... Good that I have mom, grammy, grampy, Allie and kitty :) Allie isn't as nervous around me anymore. Today I even got a kiss from her. She doesn't have the best breath...

And I got a new friend, Katrin and Mats had a baby boy may 5th. He is so cute!!! I want to put in a picture of him but I am not sure his parents let me... Or I guess they do but I wont do it without their permission. I can't wait to see him this summer!!!! Nothing much is happening here, I am just eating, sleeping, playing and pooping :) But it's so nice to have grammy and grampy too :)
I love when grammy is bathing me. She has this inflatable thing in the bath tub so I can lay down on my back on it and float around. Mom and dad, you better get one before we go home or I'll never have a bath at home again ;)

I quit taking iron but I still have to take medicine for reflux. Mom and dad let me try one day without taking the medicine but then I felt bad. Small amounts came up from my stomach and burned in my chest so I had to fuzz all night so they realized that I still should take it. It tastes bleeee though... I used to spit as much as I could out and now I have figured out how to spit it out even if they feed me straight away (to make me swallow the medicine) You should see their faces when they see that I can spit the medicine out but no milk :)

Great weather

The last week has been amazing, sunny and warm. Mom got a red nose and dad a red forhead... I have the same colour as before. Two days a go I almost turned around from my back to my tummy. I was so angry and kicking and kicking. Why doesn't mom know when I want to play on my tummy or on my back. I better learn how to turn myself... Grammy has been away for 4 days but she is coming back today :) I have missed her so much. Now I just had to stick up with mom, dad and grampy, hehehe. I am starting to be a bit hard on mom and dad, I am not going to sleep as easily as before. What do they think? I want to be awake and play and talk to them, not sleep all the time...

Did I tell you that grammy and grampy have a dog? And a cat? Allie is their labrador and I have tried to get close to her but she seems a bit nervous around me. But sometimes when I am asleep she comes and peeks into my crib and she thinks that I don't know about it... The kitty, Merc, is braver (that's very unusual, he is usually scared to death by any living creature) He often comes up and sit on moms lap when I am breastfeeding. I like him purring :)

I am in Michigan!

After a long trip we are finally in Michigan with grampy and grammy :) Good that mom and dad realized that it takes more time to travel. We arrived to Keflavik airport 3 hours before departure and it took a while to check everything in. After finnishing check-in mom and dad got their lunch and then I got mine. Then we were off. Grandpa P and Ann-catrin gave me really nice head phones to protect my ears on the flight and I used them the hole trip, except for when I was feeding. Thank you!

I was a really good boy, didn't cry anything, just slept. Ok I pooped twice before we got to Baltimore and the first time I tried to get it as far up on my back as I could. And I managed. They had to change my clothes. I really like the onesie, brown with white hearts, that Katrin and Mats gave me. But mom and dad, it's too small now. I am a big boy!!!! We arrived to Baltimore and went to a hotel. Mom and dad got some pizza and I didn't get any!!!! Then just off to bed. Mom woke me up after 3-4 hours (1 am) to feed. As I understand it her breast were so full so she couldn't sleep. Ok I'll do it for you mom. I fed and fed and when I was done I was so full that I had to throw up half of it. It leaked all over moms back and tummy and the chair got some too... We didn't go back to bed bacause we had to go to the airport again. And it takes so long to go through check-in and security. Good that we were there early again. I slept through both flights :) Didn't even have time to eat...

After a long trip we were finally in Brutus. Grammy and grampy were not at home, they were arriving later the same night so we just had to manage for some more hours. Dad went to work almost straight away. Both me and mom were so overtired, we hardly couldn't go to sleep. But finally I got some rest. I have been sleeping almost constant since I got here except for waking up to try to feed. Moms breast didn't like that I didn't eat for many hours 2 days in a row, so now there is hardly no milk for me. It's better today but still not totally satisfying... Mom eat, drink and rest more!!!

Today I got to play with grammy :) I love her so much. I am still waiting to play with grampy. I just got to hug him some but he has been busy with work and meetings. Hopefully I get to play with him soon!!

And I just want to tell Ludvik thank you for helping dad with the passport and fixing with our car after we left. Hope to see you in France this summer!!! And to see Indy in june, hope it works out!!!
